Problem: Create an identity and easily updatable blog for Geeks of Shred—a passion project for me and my Sugarbush snowboard instructor friends. Our goal? Give uncensored opinions on the sport and bring innovative riding technique to the masses.
Solution: Drawing on my 14-plus years snowboarding, I developed an identity that felt true to the lifestyle combining graphics and type treatments that conveys the message. I built Geeks of Shred site in WordPress for its ease of use for multiple users and its seamless mobile optimization. I design custom graphics for each blog entry that captures the energy of the featured post—as well as contribute content.
